- sugar - 1/3 c
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 2/3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- Crisco - 1/4 c
How to make sally lunn bread:
Blend Crisco, sugar and eggs. Mix dry ingredients and add alternately with milk. Place in 9-inch square pan which has been rubbed with Crisco and bake in hot oven at 400° about 25 minutes. Makes 18 pieces.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Weeknight.
