Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • oil - 1 2
  • egg - 1 item
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
  • prepared horseradish - 1 tsp
  • prepared mustard - 1 Tbsp
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • ground beef
  • finely chopped onions - 1/4 c
  • parsley, chopped - 2 Tbsp
  • cream of mushroom soup
  • dry breadcrumbs - 1/4 c

How to make salisbury steak deluxe:

In bowl, combine soup, mustard, Worcestershire and horseradish. Blend well and set aside. In another bowl, lightly beat egg; add bread crumbs, onion, salt, pepper and 1/4 cup of soup mixture. Add beef and mix well. Shape into six patties.

In a large skillet, brown patties in oil; drain. Combine remaining soup mixture with water; pour over patties. Cover and cook over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes, until meat is done. Remove meat to platter; spoon sauce over meat. Sprinkle with parsley.
