Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- water - 1/2 c
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- ground beef
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- can golden mushroom soup - 1 item
How to make salisbury steak:
Combine 1/4 cup of the soup with beef, egg, crumbs, onion and seasonings. Shape into 6 patties that are flat and quite thick. Brown patties in a small amount of oil in skillet. Drain off excess fat. Mix remaining soup, water and parsley. Pour over meat. Cover and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.Recipe categories: Time to make, < 30 mins, Oamc/freezer/make ahead.
