  • sour cream - 1/4 c
  • heavy cream - 1/3 c
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
  • chopped fresh parsley - 2 Tbsp
  • Dijon mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • minced onion - 2 Tbsp
  • peanut oil - 3 Tbsp
  • black pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
  • ground cardamom - 1/2 tsp
  • crumbled dried rosemary - 1 tsp
  • large cloves garlic, peeled - 12 item
  • coarsely chopped blanched almonds - 3 Tbsp

How to make roasted garlic dip:

Preheat oven to 300°. Place garlic in a small roasting pan coated with the peanut oil. Roast for 40 minutes, then let cool for 20 minutes.

Put garlic and oil in a blender; pulse several times, then add cream cheese, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Process until smooth, then transfer to a small bowl. Stir in parsley, rosemary, onion, almonds, pepper and cardamom.

Beat the cream until firm, but not stiff. Fold into the mixture and refrigerate 1 hour before serving. Serve with chips or vegetable sticks.
