Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- almonds
- grated onion - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire - 1 tsp
- Cheddar cheese - 1/2 lb
How to make cheese log:
Toast almonds at 350° for 10 minutes; cool. Chop 1/4 cup of the almonds and set aside. Grind together 1 cup almonds, cheese (Cheddar) and cream cheese. Add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, onion and salt. Blend thoroughly and shape into log about 8 inches long by 2 inches in diameter. Roll in 1/4 cup chopped almonds. Wrap in moisture-proof wrap.
