Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1/4 c
- milk - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- raisins optional - 1 item
- raw rice - 1 c
- coconut milk - 1 c
- chopped almonds - 1/3 c
- water or more - 1/2 c
How to make rice pudding:
Bring water, salt and coconut milk to the boil. Add rice and continue to cook on medium heat until rice is almost soft; stir occasionally. Add milk, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, almonds and vanilla and continue to cook on medium heat. Stir often until liquid is absorbed and rice is cooked and soft.
