Ingredients/Components
- can water - 1/2 item
- minced onion - 1/2 c
- diced celery - 1 c
- rice - 1 tsp
- green pepper, chopped optional - 1/2 c
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- to 4 slices bacon - 3 item
How to make rice casserole:
Cook rice; cook bacon until crisp and break into crumbs. Cook the onion, celery and green pepper in the bacon fat until celery is tender; drain. Mix all the ingredients in a casserole dish. Bake at 300° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Side dish, Main dish, Casseroles.
