Onion shortcake

Ingredients/Components

• milk - 1/2 c
• sour cream - 1 c
• dash of salt - 1 item
• margarine - 1/4 c
• egg, beaten - 1 item
• shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
• dill weed - 1/4 tsp
• large onion, sliced - 1 item
• cans creamed corn - 2 item
• corn muffin mix

How to make onion shortcake:

Mix corn, egg, milk, cheese and muffin mix. Pour into 8-inch square pan. Saute onion in margarine until tender. Add sour cream, salt and dill weed. Spread onion mixture over corn mixture. Sprinkle 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese on top. Bake 1/2 hour at 425°.
