Ingredients/Components

  • shrimp
  • minced onion - 1/2 c
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • bay leaf, crushed - 1 item
  • diced celery - 1/4 c
  • minced parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
  • dash of cayenne - 1 item
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • large can tomatoes - 1 item
  • can water - 1/2 item
  • enough flour to thicken - 1 item

How to make shrimp creole:

Saute onion in butter. Blend in rest of ingredients except shrimp. Cook slowly, stirring occasionally. Devein shrimp; add to sauce. Cook 30 minutes.
