Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- shrimp
- minced onion - 1/2 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- bay leaf, crushed - 1 item
- diced celery - 1/4 c
- minced parsley - 1 Tbsp
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- dash of cayenne - 1 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- large can tomatoes - 1 item
- can water - 1/2 item
- enough flour to thicken - 1 item
How to make shrimp creole:
Saute onion in butter. Blend in rest of ingredients except shrimp. Cook slowly, stirring occasionally. Devein shrimp; add to sauce. Cook 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
