Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- cut-up rhubarb - 2 c
How to make rhubarb cake:
Mix all ingredients and fold in rhubarb. Sprinkle brown sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon over top. Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
