Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar
- soda - 1 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- margarine - 1/2 c
- walnuts, chopped - 1/2 c
- cut rhubarb
How to make rhubarb cake:
Cream sugar, margarine and egg. Add vanilla. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk and vinegar. Fold in rhubarb and walnuts. Bake in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan for 40 to 45 minutes at 350°. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar if desired before baking.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
