  • vanilla - 1 Tbsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • brown sugar
  • soda - 1 Tbsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • vinegar - 1 Tbsp
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • walnuts, chopped - 1/2 c
  • cut rhubarb

How to make rhubarb cake:

Cream sugar, margarine and egg. Add vanilla. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk and vinegar. Fold in rhubarb and walnuts. Bake in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan for 40 to 45 minutes at 350°. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar if desired before baking.
