Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- minced onion - 1/3 c
- red pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Swiss cheese, shredded - 1 c
- slices bacon, fried and crumbled - 12 item
- cream whipping or light - 2 c
How to make quiche lorraine:
Preheat oven to 425°. Prepare pastry (Pillsbury Ready Crust). Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pie plate. Slightly beat eggs. Beat in remaining ingredients. Pour cream mixture into pie plate. Bake for 15 minutes at 425°. Bake for 30 minutes longer at 300° or until knife comes clean when inserted 1-inch from edge.
