Ingredients/Components
- packed brown sugar - 3/4 c
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- margarine - 6 Tbsp
- light corn syrup - 3 Tbsp
- Corn Chex cereal - 4 c
- semisweet chocolate chips - 1/4 c
- Rice Chex cereal - 4 c
How to make chex school fuel:
Cover cookie sheet with waxed paper. Microwave brown sugar, margarine and corn syrup in large microwavable bowl covered on high 1 to 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minutes. Until margarine is melted. Stir in baking soda until dissolved. Stir in cereal. Microwave on high 3 minutes, stirring every minute. Spread on cookie sheet. Cool 10 minutes; break into bite-size pieces. Microwave chocolate chips in small bowl on high 1 minute 30 seconds or until chocolate is smooth. Drizzle chocolate over snack. Refrigerate 30 minutes or until chocolate is set.
