Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- evaporated milk - 13 oz
- pumpkin - 2 c
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- oatmeal - 1/2 c
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
How to make pumpkin pie squares:
Mix flour, oatmeal, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup butter. Press into 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until golden brown.Mix together pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and salt. Beat well. Pour over crust and bake 30 minutes until slightly firm.
Mix together nuts, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 2 tablespoons butter. Sprinkle over cake. Bake additional 15 minutes. Cool. Cut into squares.
