Never fail pie crust



  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • water - 2/3 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • vinegar - 1 tsp
  • shortening - 1 c

How to make never fail pie crust:

Mix flour, salt and shortening until shortening is pea sized. In measuring cup, mix egg, vinegar and water. Add to flour mixture. This rolls out 3 large crusts. Bake in a 350° oven until light tan. This dough freezes well. A ball in a Ziploc bag in the freezer thawed, rolls and cooks fast.
