Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 3/4 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- melted butter
- ginger - 1 tsp
- canned pumpkin - 2 c
- light molasses
- brandy - 2 Tbsp
- unbaked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
- prepared eggnog
How to make pumpkin pie:
Prepare your favorite pastry shell; refrigerate. Mix sugar, flour, salt, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large mixing bowl. Add the pumpkin, molasses and melted butter and blend well. Slightly beat the eggs; add eggnog to the eggs. Pour into pumpkin mixture and mix well. Stir in brandy. Pour into the pastry shell.
