Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- chocolate chips - 1 c
- self-rising flour - 1/2 c
- flaked coconut optional - 1/2 c
- stick butter, softened - 1 item
- 9-inch pastry shell
How to make chocolate chip pie:
Cream butter, sugar and flour together. Then add 2 well beaten eggs. Mix thoroughly. Add chocolate chips, pecans, vanilla and coconut. Stir together. Pour into unbaked 9-inch pastry shell. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown at 350°. (Use deep dish pie crust because this may boil over.)Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
