Ingredients/Components

• Crisco - 1 c
• sugar - 3 c
• flour - 3 c
• eggs - 5 item
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• dash of salt - 1 item
• milk - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• lemon - 1 tsp

How to make pound cake:

Cream the Crisco and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix dry ingredients together. Add alternately with milk. Add flavoring; mix well. Bake at 300° for 1 1/4 hours, or until done.
