- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- each: cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla, maple or lemon - 1 tsp
How to make tomato soup cake:
Non-Sweet Frosting:1 c. milk1/4 c. flour Cream together first 11 ingredients; in separate bowl, cream together remaining ingredients. Beat both mixtures together for 5 minutes. Bake at 350°. Cook frosting ingredients until thick; cool and frost.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, American.
