Ingredients/Components

  • dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • chicken broth
  • onions, chopped - 3/4 c
  • sliced celery - 1/2 c
  • carrots, cut in half moons - 1/2 c
  • peeled red potatoes, cut in cubes - 5 c
  • sun evaporated sea salt - 1 tsp

How to make potato soup:

Place potatoes and sea salt in chicken broth and cook under medium heat until tender. After the potatoes are cooked, hand mash half the amount of potatoes to produce a creamy consistency. Add the carrots and simmer until tender. Lightly saute onions with a little unrefined olive oil and dry mustard. Add the sauteed onions and celery and simmer for another 5 minutes.
