Potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- water - 5 c
- oleo - 1/3 c
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- parsley - 1 tsp
- salt to taste - 1 item
- chicken bouillon cubes - 7 item
- chopped chives - 1 item
- onions, sliced - 2 item
- rib celery, chopped - 1 item
- medium potatoes, peeled and sliced - 6 item
- carrot, pared and sliced - 1 item
How to make potato soup:
Place the first 6 ingredients in enough of the water (1 to 1 1/2 cups) and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until the vegetables are tender. Remove from the heat and mash the vegetables. Add the remaining ingredients, all but milk. Return to heat and bring to a boil. Add the evaporated milk. Turn heat off. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Potato, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
