Ingredients/Components

  • cans fat free chicken broth - 4 item
  • instant white gravy mix Pioneer or McCormick - 2 pkg
  • bag of frozen hash browns, diced or shredded
  • boiling water, for gravy

How to make potato soup:

1) Heat chicken broth in a medium to large sauce pan. As it is heating, add the hash browns. Bring to a soft boil, reduce heat and add *gravy mixture. Cook for 20 minutes on low heat. Serve. Top with shredded cheese if desired.

2) *Gravy mixture; while the broth mixture is heating, boil the water for the gravy. Whisk the gravy into the water and set aside until ready to add to broth mixture.
