Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- flour - 3/4 c
- water - 6 c
- Velveeta cheese - 1 2
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- carrots - 1 c
- diced potatoes - 6 c
- sticks butter or margarine - 2 item
How to make potato soup:
Combine first 4 ingredients and bring to boil in large pot; cook until tender, do not overcook and do not drain. Simmer next 3 ingredients in separate pot until thick, stirring constantly. Add milk mixture to potato mixture. Microwave carrots in a little water for 6 minutes to soften. Add to soup mixture. Add cheese to soup mixture (more cheese the better).
