Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- pepper - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- coarsely chopped onion - 1 c
- dried parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
- sliced celery - 1 c
- peeled and cubed potatoes - 4 c
- cream or another c - 1 c
How to make potato soup:
Cook potatoes, celery, onion and salt in 2 cups water about 20 minutes until potatoes are done. Stir in remaining ingredients. Lightly mash with potato masher and cook, stirring constantly until soup is hot and thickened.Recipe categories: Potato, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
