Ingredients/Components
- peeled, cubed potatoes - 4 c
- sliced celery - 1 c
- coarsely chopped onion - 1 c
- water - 2 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- whipping cream - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
- dried parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
- sugar - 1/8 tsp
How to make potato soup:
Cook the potatoes, celery, onion and salt in 2 cups water for about 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Mash lightly with a potato masher and cook, stirring constantly until soup is hot and thickened.Recipe categories: Potato, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
