Potato sausage casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- 8 oz - 2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- bulk pork sausage - 1 lb
- can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted - 1 3/4
- chopped fresh parsley optional - 1 item
- sliced, peeled raw potatoes or use 8 oz - 3 c
How to make potato sausage casserole:
Brown sausage, drain and set aside. Combine soup, milk, onion, salt and pepper. In greased 2-quart casserole, layer half potatoes, half of soup mixture and half of sausage. Repeat, ending with sausage. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender. Sprinkle with cheese, return to oven, uncovered, for 2 or 3 minutes or until cheese melts.
