Potato-sausage casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- sausage - 1 lb
- can cheese soup or Cheez Whiz - 1 item
- raw potato slices approximately 6 to 7 medium potatoes - 3 c
How to make potato-sausage casserole:
Brown and drain sausage. Mix soup, milk, onion, salt, pepper and cheese in a large casserole dish. Layer potatoes, soup mixture and sausage and repeat layers. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours. Serves 8 to 10.Note: I sometimes cook potatoes a little before slicing. Cuts down the cooking time. Enjoy!
