Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • milk - 2 c
  • butter or margarine - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • eggs, well beaten - 3 item
  • allspice - 1 tsp
  • box raisins - 1 oz
  • medium sweet potatoes - 6 item

How to make sweet potato pone:

Peel and cook potatoes in water until tender; drain. Beat well and add all ingredients. Place in greased casserole and bake at 375° for 45 minutes.
