Potato-sausage casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3/4 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 item
- raw potatoes, sliced - 4 c
- mild Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 c
- country sausage hot or mild - 1 lb
How to make potato-sausage casserole:
In skillet, crumble and brown sausage and onion; drain. In mixing bowl, blend together milk, mushroom soup and pepper. In 9 x 9-inch casserole dish, layer 1/2 potatoes, 1/2 soup mixture, 1/2 grated cheese and 1/2 sausage. Repeat. Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
