Potato cheese soup
Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 item
- chicken broth - 2 c
- grated cheese - 2 c
- onions, chopped - 2 item
- stalks celery, chopped - 3 item
- large potatoes, cooked or raw, diced - 6 item
How to make potato cheese soup:
Saute celery and onions in butter for five minutes. Add broth and spices (and potatoes if you are using raw). Simmer until vegetables are tender. Stir in half and half. Add cheese and stir until melted. Makes 2 quarts.
