Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 2 oz
  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • butter, melted - 3/4 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • onion, finely chopped - 1/2 c
  • Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 c
  • corn flakes, crushed - 2 c

How to make potato casserole:

Defrost and drain potatoes. Combine corn flakes and 1/4 cup butter; set aside. Combine remaining 1/2 cup butter, salt, pepper, onion, cheese, soup and sour cream. Add potatoes. Place in a 9 x 13-inch glass dish. Top with corn flake mixture and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
