  • carton sour cream - 8 oz
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • chopped onions - 1 c
  • bread crumbs - 1 item
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • stick margarine, melted - 1 item
  • bag hash brown potatoes - 1 (2

How to make potato casserole:

Recipe calls for bread crumbs to be spread on top of casserole and the margarine spread over crumbs, but you can just spread the melted margarine over the casserole. Bake about 1 hour and 10 minutes on 350°. This makes a big casserole so, if you wish, you can divide in half and freeze one. If you divide, cooking time is shorter.
