Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • baking powder - 3 tsp
  • nuts
  • allspice - 1 tsp
  • mashed potatoes - 1 c
  • ground chocolate cocoa - 1 c

How to make potato cake:

Cream together sugar and butter. Beat eggs separately. (Fold in whites after all other things are added.) Mix all together. Pour into 2 greased and floured Bundt or angel food cake pans or 4 loaf pans. Bake at 350°. Cool. Wrap in foil for several weeks. (Not required, but it tastes wonderful if you do.)
