Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- grated cheese - 1/2 c
- grated onion - 2 Tbsp
- small potatoes - 3 item
How to make potato cake:
Peel potato and shred. Rinse in cold water and dry thoroughly. Beat egg until frothy and add potatoes, cheese, onion, flour, salt and pepper. Stir well. Heat butter in a large skillet and drop potato mixture by rounded tablespoons into hot skillet. Brown on one side. Turn and brown slowly on the other side until done.
