Cranberry-orange bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- raw cranberries, coarsely chopped - 1 c
How to make cranberry-orange bread:
Heat oven to 350°. Grease loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3-inch). Blend dry ingredients. Mix in oil, orange rind, juice and egg. Fold in cranberries. Pour into pan. Bake 1 hour. Cool thoroughly before slicing with a thin, sharp knife. Yields 16 servings.Note: Good; not sweet.
