Pork chop scallop
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 2/3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- 5 oz
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- dried basil leaves - 1/2 tsp
- medium carrots, thinly sliced - 2 item
- to 8 pork chops - 6 item
How to make pork chop scallop:
Heat oven to 350°. Trim and brown pork chops in skillet. Sprinkle with salt. Heat water to boiling in 3 quart pan. Add carrots and frozen beans; heat to boiling. Stir in butter, potato slices and sauce mix from scalloped potatoes package. Mix soup, milk, basil and Worcestershire sauce; stir into vegetable mixture. Pour into ungreased baking dish. Place pork chops on top. Cover and bake 45 minutes. Uncover and bake until pork is tender, 10 to 15 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
