Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- water - 1 c
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- chopped green pepper - 1/3 c
- basil - 1 tsp
- Mozzarella cheese - 16 oz
- dried oregano - 1 tsp
- sliced carrots - 2/3 c
- sliced celery - 1/3 c
- marjoram - 1/4 tsp
- clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
- small can tomato paste - 1 item
- fresh chopped broccoli - 1 c
- chopped cauliflower - 1 c
- small chopped onion optional - 1 item
- fresh mushrooms, sliced or 1 8 oz - 1 lb
- to 2 zucchini, sliced - 1 item
- Add the following to the sauteed vegetables and simmer 20 minutes: tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, dried oregano, basil, marjoram, garlic and salt
How to make popover pizza:
Saute vegetables for 7 minutes in hot oil. Add the following to the sauteed vegetables and simmer 20 minutes: tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, dried oregano, basil, marjoram, garlic and salt. Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese. Place in 400° oven just to melt cheese while preparing batter.Batter:2 large eggs1 tsp. oil1 c. milk1 tsp. salt1 c. flour Mix and pour over cheese and sprinkle with 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
