  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • water - 1/2 c
  • oil - 1 Tbsp
  • chopped onion - 1 c
  • Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • Mozzarella cheese - 1 (8
  • envelope spaghetti sauce mix - 1 item
  • Batter:2 eggs

How to make popover pizza:

Batter:2 eggs1 Tbsp. oil1/2 tsp. salt1 c. milk1 c. flour1/2 c. Parmesan cheese Brown beef in large skillet with onion; drain off excess fat. Add sauce mix, tomato sauce, water and oregano. Simmer for 10 minutes. Spoon into greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Top with Mozzarella cheese.

Prepare batter by beating together eggs, milk and oil. Add flour and salt and beat until smooth. Pour over pizza filling. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes or until puffed and dark brown.
