Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2/3 c
  • salt - 8 tsp
  • garlic salt - 6 tsp
  • onions, chopped - 5 item
  • white vinegar - 1 c
  • jalapeno peppers, chopped - 18 item
  • ripe tomatoes - 5 qt

How to make picante sauce:

Combine all and cook slowly until tomatoes are done, 30 to 45 minutes. Makes 6 to 7 pints.
