Ingredients/Components
- salt - 3 tsp
- vinegar - 1 c
- cloves garlic - 2 item
- cayenne pepper - 2 tsp
- small can tomato paste - 1 item
- large onions - 2 item
- large bell pepper - 1 item
- to 20 tomatoes - 18 item
- to 17 jalapeno peppers mild is 10; hot is 17 - 10 item
How to make picante sauce:
In food processor, chop up all ingredients. Put in large pot. Boil 5 minutes. Turn heat down and simmer 30 to 45 minutes. Put in clean warm jars and seal with lids.Recipe categories: Sauces, Dips, Savory sauces.
