Ingredients/Components

  • melted butter - 1/4 c
  • olive oil - 1/4 c
  • salt to taste - 1 item
  • freshly grated Parmesan cheese - 3/4 c
  • large cloves garlic - 2 item
  • packed fresh basil leaves - 3 c
  • pine nuts/walnuts, almonds or a combination - 1/2 c
  • fresh packed parsley - 3/4 c

How to make pesto sauce:

Combine all ingredients in blender. Mix thoroughly to a paste and toss with cooked, drained pasta. Serve with Italian bread, if you like.
