Ingredients/Components
- water - 3 Tbsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- cloves garlic - 6 item
- basil leaves
- extra virgin olive oil - 1 c
- pignoli nuts or walnuts - 1 c
How to make pesto sauce:
In a blender: basil leaves, nuts and garlic. Blend until fine. Then: add oil in a thin stream while blending. Add cheese, salt and pepper. Serve over hot pasta, which was boiled "al dente."Recipe categories: Sauces, Savory sauces, Spreads.
