Persimmon pudding
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk
- salt
- flour
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder
- shortening - 5 Tbsp
- white sugar - 1 c
- ground cloves - 1/2 tsp
- beaten eggs - 3 item
- persimmon puree - 2 c
How to make persimmon pudding:
Cream shortening and sugars. Stir in eggs, milk and vanilla. Set aside. Sift together flour, soda, cinnamon, salt, baking powder and cloves. Add flour mixture to mixture you set aside. Add in persimmon puree. Mix well. Pour in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 1 hour at 350°. May add Cool Whip or whipping cream to top of pudding.Recipe categories: Fruit, American, North american.
