- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- boiling water
- nuts - 1/2 c
- oatmeal - 1 c
- white sugar - 1 c
- Cool about 20 minutes
How to make oatmeal cake:
Make oatmeal. Cool about 20 minutes. Add remaining ingredients; beat until well blended. Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.Topping:6 Tbsp. melted butter2/3 c. brown sugar1/4 c. milk1 c. coconut1/2 c. nuts1 tsp. vanilla Mix together.
