Pepper steak
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch
- water - 2 c
- soy sauce - 1/2 Tbsp
- green pepper - 1 item
- Kitchen Bouquet - 2 tsp
- onions - 2 item
- round steak - 1 lb
How to make pepper steak:
Cut steak in strips and brown in a little oil. Add chopped onion and chopped green pepper. Add 2 cups water, Kitchen Bouquet and salt. Cook slowly for 30 minutes or until meat is tender.Mix cornstarch (or flour), soy sauce and 1/2 cup water. Add to meat mixture. Cook over low heat until thick. Serve over rice.
