Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chili powder - 2 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- uncooked regular rice - 1/2 c
- tomatoes - 1 qt
- small can tomato sauce - 1 item
- large green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- large onions - 2 item
How to make texas hash:
In a large skillet, cook and stir beef until light brown. Drain off fat. Add onions and green pepper and cook and stir until onions are tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat thoroughly. Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, One Dish meal.
