Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla
  • salt - 3/4 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • plus 2 Tbsp - 1/4 c
  • Karo syrup
  • melted oleo - 3 Tbsp
  • soft oleo - 3/4 c

How to make pecan pie squares:

Mix together first 4 ingredients. Press into greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Make a filling of rest of ingredients. After mixing together add 2 1/2 cups chopped pecans. Pour filling into baked crumb layer. Bake about 25 minutes or until filling is set. Cool and cut into 1 1/2-inch squares.
