Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pecan halves - 1 c
- Karo syrup - 1 c
- pecan pieces - 1 c
- cube melted butter not margarine - 1 item
How to make pecan pie:
Mix syrup and sugar; add melted butter. Mix in eggs and vanilla; let stand for 1 hour. Place pecan pieces in 9-inch pie shell. Pour in filling and cover with pecan pieces turned right side up. Pie is prettier when pecan pieces are placed in a starburst pattern. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 325°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
