Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 3/4 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • evaporated milk - 1/2 c
  • corn syrup - 1 c
  • 9-inch pie shell - 1 item

How to make pecan pie:

Combine flour, sugar and salt in 1 1/2-quart bowl. Add syrup and eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add milk, pecans and vanilla; blend well. Pour into pie shell. Bake near center of oven at 375° for 50 minutes. Cool before serving. Yield: 8 servings.
