Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 3 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour
  • evaporated milk - 1/2 c
  • oil - 1 c
  • cocoa - 1/3 c
  • pecans - 1 c
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • jar Marshmallow Creme - 1 item
  • Mix flour, cocoa and salt

How to make mississippi mud cake:

Cream sugar, oil and eggs. Mix flour, cocoa and salt. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan for 30 minutes at 350°. Cool 10 minutes and spread Marshmallow Creme on top.Frosting:2 sticks oleo1 box powdered sugar1/2 c. evaporated milk1 tsp. vanilla1 c. pecans1/2 c. cocoa Sift sugar and cocoa. Mix with melted oleo, sugar and vanilla. Stir in nuts and pour on cake. Let stand 5 hours.
